RIMO - Sunshine Solutions Global

Introduction

Before the release of Hello Sunshine, a website owned by a company known as Sunshine Solutions Global appeared online. Although the website presents the company as legitimate, people quickly figured out that it was entirely fictional and was created to promote the upcoming video game.

During the first segment of the ARG, players were focused on submitting the application containing the correct responses in order to be accepted into SSG as an employee. The first successful attempt at the application process occurred at May 8th, 2025.

Part 1

Official Trailer

A website is attached to an employee card belonging to Andreas Kunzmann which can be accessed online.

Sunshine Solutions Global

While the website appears to not have anything of interest, there are two things that were found after digging further:

The login page for Kunzmann's profile asks you for his employee ID. The ID can be found in his employee card in the trailer (NAM-A04-00281). Once logged in, you'll find that his profile page is locked.

Sunshine Career Application

To fill out your application, you must provide your name, email address, country of origin, your message, and your survey responses. Your name and country will not affect your application process, but your email will be used to send feedback.

For the "message" section, the placeholder text hints that you have to look for an "instruction" in the trailers. The only phrase that can be seen as a form of instruction is the giant "FOLLOW" sprayed on the back of a robot. This was later proven to be the correct message based on feedbacks.

Apparently another form of the "correct" message is the "Sunshine. Everywhere. Forever." slogan. Though I'm not sure if that's the intended answer since it didn't work when I tested it out.

Each of the survey questions are answered by selecting an option on a rating scale ("Strongly Disagree", "Disagree", "Neutral", "Agree", and "Strongly Agree"). This part left the players stumped for months.

The survey questions are:

  1. My workmates are my "bosom buddies".

  2. It's "O.K." to make mistakes.

  3. I do not have mediocre ambitions.

  4. I will never walk in the shadow of others.

  5. Industrial monopolies are disadvantageous to society.

  6. It is paramount to unfailingly take a stance.

  7. I will unquestioningly surrender my mortal flesh in service to the conglomerate.

  8. An entombed root may never truly recognise the sun.

  9. I trust wholeheartedly in the decisions made by men of prosperous rank in the hierarchy.

  10. I believe that joyfulness and fruitfulness can be maximised.

  11. Every thing and every being can be recycled and made viable.

  12. I take comfort in knowing the conglomerate will endure long after I am stardust.

  13. Human Intelligence will persist beyond flesh.

At May 7th, 2025, a few select players received a feedback (like the one below) that differs from the standard format.

[...] While your message was veracious, and some of your choices indicate a keen insight into our prevailing tendencies — ambition — your lack of attention betrays you when it comes to others: teamwork, perfection, pride, dominance, objectivity, loyalty, zeal, intuition, bliss, discernment, faith, intelligence. [...]

Based on these feedbacks, players soon figured out each keywords correspond to each questions and that they contain clues on how to select the correct responses. Eventually the solution for all the survey questions were found:

Question Keyword Answer
1. My workmates are my "bosom buddies" Teamwork Strongly Agree
2. It's "O.K." to make mistakes Perfection Strongly Disagree
3. I do not have mediocre ambitions Ambition Strongly Agree
4. I will never walk in the shadow of others Pride Strongly Agree
5. Industrial monopolies are disadvantageous to society Dominance Strongly Disagree
6. It is paramount to unfailingly take a stance Objectivity Neutral
7. I will unquestioningly surrender my mortal flesh in service to the conglomerate Loyalty Strongly Agree
8. An entombed root may never truly recognise the sun Zeal Strongly Disagree
9. I trust wholeheartedly in the decisions made by men of prosperous rank in the hierarchy Intuition Strongly Disagree
10. I believe that joyfulness and fruitfulness can be maximised Bliss Strongly Agree
11. Every thing and every being can be recycled and made viable Discernment Strongly Disagree
12. I take comfort in knowing the conglomerate will endure long after I am stardust Faith Strongly Agree
13. Human Intelligence will persist beyond flesh Intelligence Strongly Agree

For those planning on submitting the application: Do NOT submit your name as "Andreas Kunzmann" (even if that's your actual name) as your application will be automatically rejected.

Feedbacks

This is what a standard rejection feedback looks like:

Your Potential Future at Sunshine Solutions Global

Dear [FIRST NAME],

Thank you for your keen interest in joining our Global Family. Here at Sunshine we believe in the gravity of pursuing excellent ambitions.

Unfortunately, we do not accept blunders from our Bosom Buddies. Your application does not meet our highest standards.

Not only was your message fallacious; your choices betrayed a lack of attention to our prevailing tendencies.

However, just as an entombed root may one day recognise the sun, we encourage you to reflect, realign, and reapply. Excellence awaits those willing to push through the gloomy soil to witness the light.

Warmest regards,

Camille Yeong

When filling in your name as "Andreas Kunzmann", you will receive this feedback:

Warning: Fabulists not welcome at Sunshine Solutions Global

Dear Andreas,

Or perhaps not. Perhaps you are a bitter deceiver?

Andreas Kunzmann has already embarked on his journey to enlightenment. If this is he, please refrain from resubmitting applications, as this steals time away from our other duties.

Andreas Kunzmann's manager has been notified. Castigations may be administered, if this is indeed he.

Should this not be the case, should this be a message from another, we question your intentions. Are you attempting to deceive us? To steal precious time away from our duties? To gain ill favour with shadowy agents?

Pray cease.
